Spartacus Season 3

Unfortunately, it's starting to look like Andy Whitfield will not be back and the role of Spartacus has been recast with some guy named Liam McIntyre.  Not sure how I feel about this as I loved me some Andy Whitfield who made me fall in love with the show. This new guy better show his peen or something during the season premiere to appease the Gods or not sure if I will continue to watch. Everybody else died in Season One!

Season 3 of Spartacus: Blood and Sand is slated for 2012.

I will keep you updated.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena on TONIGHT!

Tonight at 10pm is the Season 2 premiere of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena on Starz. Those of you who don't have Starz, but have a Netflix subscription like myself, can start streaming it instantly on January 22! I can't wait to see what pops off in the House of Batiatus this season. Let's hope it's good enough so that we don't Andy Whitfield (get well soon, and come back for Season 3) so much.

For those of you who missed Season One, you can catch it on Netflix instant. Definitely worth watching.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena

As we all know, Spartacus: Blood and Sand was one of the illest shows to come out in 2010.  However,  Spartacus himself, Andy Whitfield, was diagnosed with cancer and has been unable to return to the set to start the filming of Season Two. What is Starz' solution...A PREQUEL.  Spartacus: Gods of the Arena takes place prior to the arrival of Spartacus and focuses on the original champion of the House of Batiatus, Gannicus.  Hoping my Andy will be better in time for Season Three.  This new guy looks a little too romance novel for my tastes.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena airs in January 21, 2011.
